Benetti Begins Construction on 85m Project Life
Benetti has confirmed the construction of Project Life, an 85-metre superyacht set to become the yard’s largest on-spec build.
Designed for open-air living, Project Life includes a 270-square-metre beach club with fold-out terraces and a swim platform, lit from above by a glass-bottomed pool. Accommodation spans seven guest cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite with a private lounge and a flexible-use space.
François Zuretti leads the interior design, focused on soft lines and natural light. Exterior styling is by Espen Øino, marking his first collaboration with Benetti.
The yacht also features a helipad, Jacuzzi and an outdoor dining area with a live cooking setup.
A hybrid-ready propulsion system will pair diesel-electric engines with solar integration to support onboard systems and reduce emissions. The design reflects a shift toward quieter, more energy-efficient operation and long-term flexibility.
Construction of Project Life is set to start in late 2025, with delivery targeted for 2030.
