Construction Begins on Heesen’s 57m Superyacht, Project Evita

Heesen Yachts has officially started building its latest 56.7-metre superyacht, Project Evita, YN 21557, with the keel now in place at its Oss shipyard. This vessel, constructed entirely from aluminium, is a collaboration between Omega Architects, who crafted the sleek exterior, Harrison Eidsgaard, responsible for the interior design, and Van Oossanen Naval Architects, who developed its advanced naval architecture.

Designed by Omega Architects, Project Evita boasts a modern and streamlined silhouette, highlighted by its elongated profile and signature scoop-shaped stern. As part of Heesen’s new 57m Aluminium Class, it features a 780 GT volume, providing a spacious interior while still maintaining speed and agility.

Heesen's new built is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with a central elevator providing seamless access between all three decks. A key highlight of Project Evita is the pool on the main deck aft, offering an ideal space for relaxation, along with a generously sized storage area for water toys. Built for both luxury and performance, she can reach speeds of up to 22 knots at half load.

Peter van der Zanden, General Manager of Design and Development at Heesen Yachts, stated that aluminium was chosen for its construction to keep the yacht as light as possible, a skill that Heesen has perfected over the years. He explained that the vertical bow extends the waterline, enhancing both speed and efficiency, while the elegantly curved stern gives the yacht a distinctive and dynamic look. With its combination of performance and design, van der Zanden is confident that this yacht will make a bold impression in any marina it arrives in.

Delivery is expected in the second quarter of 2027.
