Sanlorenzo Unveils 74Steel, Its Largest Superyacht Yet
Sanlorenzo has launched the 74Steel, its new flagship model, at the La Spezia shipyard. Three units have already been sold, and a fourth is under negotiation. Each yacht features a unique layout and custom interiors.
The 72-metre yacht features a hybrid diesel-electric system developed with Siemens Energy, allowing more interior space for leisure areas like the large beach club and spa. Exterior styling is by Zuccon International Project, with interiors by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini.
With 1,900GT of volume, the 74Steel offers generous space while staying true to Sanlorenzo’s refined style. CEO Massimo Perotti said the yacht proves that elegance and precision can coexist with size.
The 13.1-metre beam allows a spa area with a sauna, Hammam plunge pool, massage room and family lounge. The owner’s deck includes a private hot tub, dining space, lounge, office and two bathrooms.
The main deck hosts five guest cabins and lounges, while the sundeck features a bar, Jacuzzi, firepit and sunpadsprotected by a glass windbreak.
The yacht is also equipped with a helipad, formal dining space, and two tender garages that store a 10-metre Pascoe limo tender, a crew tender, and various water toys.
Perotti called the 74Steel a milestone for the shipyard, saying it reflects Sanlorenzo’s values of elegance and simplicitywhile marking its most ambitious project yet.
The first unit was sold in 2021 through Edmiston, which will also manage her charter. The 74Steel replaces Attila as Sanlorenzo’s largest yacht by six metres.
